Founder and Principal Engineer
Dr. Casey Fagley
Casey founded KC Engineering after a post-doctoral appointment in the U.S. Air Force Academy Department of Aeronautics. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wyoming (2010). His research focus is modeling and control of high-dimensional non-linear systems.
His work covers experimental aerodynamics, machine learning for engineering systems, and data-driven control. He has published in the Journal of Fluid Mechanics, the Journal of Fluids and Structures, the AIAA Journal, IFAC proceedings and the International Journal of Flow Control, and has built PyTorch and Streamlit tools for industrial clients.

Background
Research with the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Dr. Fagley has worked with the U.S. Air Force Academy Department of Aeronautics Research Center for over a decade. The research covers subsonic and transonic wind-tunnel testing, active flow control, aeroelastic methods and dynamic stability.
That work led to papers in fluid mechanics and aerospace journals and to machine-learning tools for clients in ocean energy and aerospace.
